![]() ![]() They said it would take 10-15 minutes.Ģ0 minutes went by and I approached the manager and asked him how much longer? He apologized to me and said he needed 5 more minutes on it since they put in my order in the oven late. What the heck, I really needed to go so I got a small cheese. ![]() I didn't want to be that person that just uses their restroom without ordering anything, specially since they had a nice big sign saying it was for their customers. Their sign said they closed at 10 but I over heard the manager tell a customer they would stay open since they were busy. The place was really old and run down but it was packed with people. My girlfriend and I saw a pizza place that was open and decided to stop there to use their restrooms. I really needed to use a bathroom and most places around US 1 HWY were already closed at 10pm on a Sunday night. On my way back from the keys I got stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in Isla Morada. It was a very good pizza! It's nothing overly complex, but the toppings were fresh and it was a pleasant eat! Desserts were limited but Jesus did give us some key lime candy which was tasty. We further ordered a medium 14" pizza with garlic, pepperoni, mushroom and extra cheese. Understand that it's not a jar sauce, its a fresh homemade sauce and with that comes a different texture. The alfredo sauce was very flavorful and delicious. The garlic rolls were hands down the best I have had at any Italian place ever. We started out with an appetizer of garlic rolls which came with marinara sauce, and our usual side order of alfredo sauce. The owner's son, Jesus, took care of us during our visit and really made us feel welcome and taken care of. ![]() The atmosphere is very mom and pop, hole in the wall, laid back island vibes but with extremely attentive service. Trying to find an open restaurant during COVID is like trying to find a needle in a haystack, so when we drove past Tower of Pizza and saw it was open, it was like a beacon in the storm. ![]()
